She began her career over 20 years ago, when the term stylist was not known in the Hispanic market, making her a pioneer in her field. Irma is a constant presence on the top entertainment shows for US Hispanic networks as a fashion expert, as well as the chief stylist for the stars during the big shows including the Latin Grammy, Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, Billboard Latin Music Awards, Nuestra Belleza Latina and Yo Soy el Artista.
Her track record and credibility have led her to be sought after by important brands looking to strategically position their message and products in the US Hispanic market.
